Bruce J. Downey IV
Bruce Downey founded The Downey Law Firm in 2010. After graduating from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2006, cum laude, Bruce had the privilege of clerking on the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, for the Honorable Joel F. Dubina, Circuit Judge. He then worked in the large, corporate legal defense world before moving here to Anniston, Alabama to start a firm focused on serving individuals in their hours of need. He has substantial experience in a broad array of complex and high-stakes lawsuits. He knows first-hand what it takes to take-on and beat the biggest and the most powerful, and he welcomes the challenge in every case he accepts. He also has a proven record of meeting the challenge. Bruce knows that the trust his clients place in him is sacred, and they may only get one chance to get it right. His mission is to honor that trust and achieve for his clients the justice that they deserve.
